We are seeking an energetic and well-rounded individuals who can confidently lead a group of young children in an outdoor setting and classroom setting on our lovely school campus with over a hundred acres of forest and stream. Summer teachers work as a team and are supported by the year-round staff of the school.

Along with traditional Waldorf education, the school's educational philosophy incorporates the work of Emi Pickler and Helle Heckman. We spend our days  partially in the classroom and partially outside in our lovely play yard, walking along the miles of trails, exploring in the old growth pine woods, playing and working in the vegetable garden and wading in the stream. The school menu is designed using the insights of Weston A. Price and all summer staff participate in the preparation of our delicious food. We serve a local and organic breakfast, lunch, and snack daily.

The ideal candidate would have Waldorf training, early childhood training, and experience and be enthusiastic and knowledgeable about sharing the outdoors and cooking with children. Teacher Licensure in Early Childhood in the State of Vermont would be desirable. Pay is commensurate with experience.
